Baker County is a great place to live. Not only is it a town surrounded by beauty and great culture, it is also a safe place to call home. In 2014, Safe Choice Security ranked Baker City as the safest city in Oregon. As your District Attorney, my primary goal is to maintain that status and to keep Baker County a safe and enjoyable place to raise children.

Our office has a great team of professionals committed to our County. We strive to hold offenders accountable to ensure community safety, while seeking rehabilitation where it is appropriate. Seeking justice in all cases, and prosecuting with integrity and transparency, is our key function.

As your District Attorney, I feel it is important to openly communicate with our community. Working with crime victims, as well as educating our community on ways to prevent crime, are two areas that we believe are valuable and vital services we provide.

While we will not be able to stop all crime, and by working hand in hand with the community, we can strive to keep our community safe and to maintain our quality of life in Baker County.
